Certain applicants are ineligible, including those with dual EU citizenship, candidates from Quebec applying for a Master’s degree, and applicants for specific joint or one-year Master’s programs.

The Émile Boutmy Scholarship encompasses all academic disciplines offered at Sciences Po. There is no specific prioritization of fields; all eligible students are encouraged to apply.

Scholarship Benefits

For Undergraduate students, the scholarship can take several forms:

  • A tuition grant of €13,000 per year for the three years of the Undergraduate program.
  • A tuition grant of €8,800 per year for the three years of the Undergraduate program.
  • A tuition grant of €6,000 per year for the three years of the Undergraduate program.
  • A tuition grant of €3,600 per year for the three years of the Undergraduate program.
  • In exceptional cases, a €19,000 grant may be awarded to cover the three years of College.
  • For Master’s level students, the scholarship consists of:
  • A €12,200 per year grant for the two years of the Master’s program.

Note: The scholarship is awarded based on merit and financial need.

Number of Awards

Approximately 300 Émile Boutmy scholarships are distributed each year, thanks to the support of generous benefactors.
